PLDT’s Pay Express Online via askPLDT App

askPLDT is PLDT’s self-service and information-provider application solution for their customers and is currently available for smart devices.

A reader asked me whether there was any other way to access PLDT’s Pay Express Online aside from the QR Code. So after checking PLDT’s page a bit, I found out that you can pay your PLDT bills with their askPLDT app as well. Thanks Macario for giving me this idea and allowing me to check on this!

Here’s how you do it.

First, you have to download the askPLDT app on Google Play  or on Apple iTunes.

Once the download is complete, go ahead and open the application. Select “Balance Inquiry”.

You will then have to fill in your 10-digit account number as well as the telephone number. You can find this at the top-right corner of your billing statement. After entering those information, press “Pay Now”. Just before the page redirects, the app will show your account’s information. As an IT guy, the developers should have designed the update to trigger as soon as both fields are filled correctly and not after pressing the “Pay Now” button. But it’s just me, I guess.

Anyway, the app will then redirect you to PLDT’s Pay Express online page.

Select your mode of payment, either via credit card or debit card, enter your payment details and that’s it! You should receive a confirmation page at the end of the transaction.

I hope this helps! Feel free to send me a message or leave a reply if anyone wants me to check out something else. I’ll try to do the best I can to help!

  • The system asked for a telephone number, but looks like it required a land line telephone number. What if, I only have a cell phone number.

    • Ooof… That’s a problem… I don’t have an account similar to yours so I don’t think I’ll be able to test it out…

is the online payment immediately posted as in real time?

    • I’m not sure if it’s immediately posted but you should be able to see a timestamp of your payment. Just in case, you can take note of it and use it as a reference should there be a need to report something. 🙂
