Makati’s Rub Ribs

Located at Nicanor Garcia cor. Baler Street in Makati City or just a few steps away from Jazz Mall and from Century City Mall, Rub Ribs offers quality ribs, burgers and sandwiches at a very, very affordable price.

My friends and I have planned to eat here since probably last year but was only able to push through with the plans last week. When we arrived at 7:30 pm, the place was already full and unfortunately for us, a big group was dining there so we had to wait for an hour or more before we were seated.

It’s very easy to miss the place since the area is more on the “outskirts” of Makati. Nevertheless, it’s just at the side of the street so it shouldn’t be too hard either.

Since we came right after work, we ordered a clam chowder first to sate our initial hunger. I always love croutons in any of my soups!

Next, we ordered their Family Brunch which comes with a slab of ribs and 3 side dishes – garlic spinach and mushroom, potato fries and grilled buttered corn. There are other options for side dishes which you’re free to choose from. Their ribs at that time weren’t as soft as I expected but it was smokey and savory nonetheless. The garlic spinach was new to my taste in a good way, the buttered corns were sweet and the fries went really well with the sauce.

For the 3 of us, the total bill cost around P1000.00 which was pretty affordable considering all three of us were satisfied and full.
