Setting “Consent to Contact” For Citibank Credit Cards
Citibank is known for being one of the most aggressive banks when it comes to offers and promos from telemarketers.
I know a few people who complained of getting tons of calls from Citi. Personally, I have experienced this as well. The calls can range from “Click for Cash” offers to “Balance Transfers”. Thankfully, there’s a way to stop these calls. I’ll show you how.
1. Log in to your Citibank Online account
Assuming you have already created your account, simply visit Citi’s login page and enter your username and password.
2. Navigate to “Services” > “Profile & Settings”
3. Select “Consent to Contact”
You can find this option under “My Profile” on the left side of the page.
4. Authenticate Your Account by Entering Your One-Time PIN
Generate a one-time PIN either through the mobile app or through SMS. Once you receive the OTP, enter it in order to authenticate your session or request.
5. Click “Edit” on the “My Privacy Preferences” area
This button can be found on the lower right corner of the page.
6. Change Your Settings and Click “Confirm”
Set your preferences using the drop-down field for each of the messaging option under “call”, “mail”, “email”, and “SMS”. When you are done, click “Confirm” to save your settings.
And that’s it! Hopefully, you get some peace from Citibank’s marketing calls with this.
