Makati’s Rue Bourbon

Located at 108 H.V. Dela Costa corner Tordesillas St., Salcedo Village, Makati, Rue Bourbon is an American bar/restaurant that’s a great place for good friends to have a relaxing time after a long day at work. Rue Bourbon is my go-to place when I really need to unwind or de-stress after life takes over.

Makati’s Rue Bourbon has 2 floors, with the 1st floor for non-smokers and the 2nd floor for smokers. The 1st floor, for some reason, is also darker but offers a more intimate ambiance, although the music can get too loud at times. The 2nd floor on the other hand, is quite bright and would sometimes have live bands.

Just in case you’re sat at the 2nd floor and everyone’s busy taking care of other customers down stairs, just press this button when you’re ready to order or when you need to ask for your bill. Pretty handy!

I’ve tried a few of their cocktails and they were actually quite good. As you probably know by now, I don’t have any problems eating or shopping alone but I’ve yet to try this at Rue.
