Shopping at Ayala Malls with Zing
People who often shop at Ayala Malls should make sure to download and use Zing.
I’ve actually been disappointed with Ayala ever since they discontinued the ARC (Ayala Rewards Circle) program without announcing anything to replace it. Thankfully they came up with Zing. Unlike the ARC app however, Zing works more similarly to SM’s Advantage/Prestige program. With it, shoppers can earn points, look for promos and discounts, redeem vouchers, and even access any Ayala Mall’s directory!
Here’s how to get started.
Download the app and register for an account
The app is available on the App Store and on Google Play. Once downloaded, proceed with making an account.
Upgrade your account to Zing+
In order to fully enjoy the benefits of the program, you will need to upgrade your account to Zing+. Don’t worry though, as this is as easy as linking your GCash number or your credit card/s to your account; you don’t even need to spend!
To start linking, just to go your profile page and set it up from there.
Enjoy all the benefits of Zing Plus
As a Zing Plus member, every payment you make through your linked GCash number and/or credit card/s will earn you Zing points. For the points savvy consumer, this can lead to double dipping (or even triple dipping) on your rewards/points! For example at The Alley by Vikings, I earn points from using my credit card, from presenting my Vikings Rewards membership, and then from the linked card at Zing. AmaZing!
After racking up those points, you can exchange them from a lot, and I really mean a lot, of partner merchants.
Do note however that not all transactions are qualified to earn points so make sure to double check that in the app too.
